The new update will feature all new Android 9 Pie system interface, adaptive battery, and brightness, swipe navigation gestures, slices, app actions, accessibility, screenshot shortcut etc. It also brings November Security Patch with this update. The update size is around 1.7GB.

So many Mi A2 s are complaining that after the update, the s are facing poor battery performance and some issues with the fingerprint sensor. Hope Xiaomi will fix this issue very soon. The company has promised last time that Mi A1 will get two major Android updates, but it only got one update. There is no confirmation about the Pie update on Mi A1 yet.
